The Governor General's Literary Awards honour the best English-language and French-language books in fiction, non-fiction, poetry, drama, children's literature (text), children's literature (illustration) and translation.

This year's Governor General's Literary Awards are celebrating their 75th anniversary in 2011. Finalists will be announced on October 11, 2011 and the winners revealed November 15.
